Tof Malone, aka Tofey, is our most feral cat at the sanctuary. Tofey came to us with a rough past. While his exact history is unknown, we do know that he was living in a not-so-great area of the city, fending for himself by eating out of trash bags on the street. We are so grateful for the rescuer who was able to trap and foster him until he made his way to us.

Tofey has been a part of our family for 5 years now, and his journey has proven his resilience, strength, and a bit of catitude. He's overcome surviving outdoors, chronic illness and probably the worst of all, humans. Tofey is still weary & fearful of people, but that does not mean he is deserving of any less love. Tofey has taught us how to love him on his terms, meaning lots of squeezy treats and space. We have witnessed a transformation in both his health and personality by not only respecting his boundaries, but also due to his new found cat family. Feline companionship has done wonders for his recovery and confidence.

Tof Malone is a true testament that we all deserve love and kindness and that love itself can be shown/received in many different ways. Tofey is a testament that all animals are deserving of respect, not just the social, cuddly ones.
